Highlander's Loft Our cabin is in the heart of the Natural Bridge area of Kentucky's Red River Gorge region, about 45 miles Southeast of Lexington. Red River Gorge is renowned for its rugged sandstone cliffs as well as the nature walks, rock climbing, hiking, and off-roading that naturally comes along with it. Highlander's Loft offers a great home base for any activity you want to pursue. Highlander's Loft is situated just off Hwy 11, the main road connecting many world famous Rock Climbing crags. It's less than 2 miles from Natural Bridge State Park or the 706,000 acre Daniel Boone National Forest. Or, you can choose to just hang out on the back porch and watch the sunset. This cabin is set up for 6 adults, has satellite TV, free wireless internet, a Jacuzzi and a gas fireplace. Rentals include bed linens, towels, toilet paper and paper towels. From Lexington, KY, take Interstate 64 East to the Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway, then 33 miles to the Slade exit. The cabin is about 4 miles south on KY11, just off Glencairn Road.
